Break The Circuit
We are all going through these stressful times of uncertainty, stress, and anxiety since the past year or so. To be honest, the uncertainty over the timeframe when I’m likely to meet my parents is daunting .
I had never, in my adult life, imagined living through a pandemic. Let alone meeting loved ones, it’s a time when we are losing them to COVID even without bidding them a goodbye.:(
It has been stressful for everyone. Period. But the solution is not to delve upon the stressful emotions and create a vicious circle of negative thinking-emotional eating and feeling guilty.
We can take charge!It was over the last few days of pondering over my own feelings, with the recent semi-lockdown and constant bombardment of news that made me realise how everybody is affected in some way or the other.
I came up with this program because of my own feelings of trying to deal with situations(which are uncontrollable). You cannot pour from an empty cup. Right?
For me it came down to 3 simple things:
1. breathe and let go
2. take time out for myself and relax.
3. listen to my body(nourish it well)
This is my belief that a healthy body results in a healthy mind. We can all take charge of our thoughts, and emotions. We can all eat nourishing foods without feeling guilty!
I would love for you to embark on this journey of kindness, self-care and love with me to fight this pandemic Bang on!!
