My favourite simple breakfast recipe..

My favourite simple breakfast recipe..

Preparing my b’fast is a huge part of my morning routine.

The biggest key to a consistent routine is keeping it simple yet nutrient dense.

My brekky bowl is my most favourite and a goto option for most mornings. It works great for my busy work days – super easy, simple and sustainable.

My Brekky Bowl

Ingredients

Base

2 tablespoons chia seeds

3/4 cup almond or coconut milk unsweetened – increase the amount If consistency too thick

2 scoop of nuzest powder( unflavoured version)

Toppings

1 tablespoon of cashew

2 tablespoons of unsweetened coconut flakes

1 teaspoon of pumpkin seeds

Method

1. Combine the base ingredients in the small bowl and whisk to combine .

I allow it sit for 30 mins minimum.

Top it with the toppings ( 1/2 cup berries on some days)

If you are not a protein powder person then sub it with 11/2 to 3/4 of green yogurt .

Most days I eat this as it ticks the boxes of protein + fat + fibre( satiating meal) – this keeps me going through the morning. Keep it simple and sustainable!

Stay healthy,

Swati
